21 Feb 2017 our 2017 junction themed trip to Mitcham Junction and then onto Wimbledon, in many ways a junction station but in name. Our journey commenced from Blackfriars where the members met up and we continued on a new Class 700 Thameslink unit to Mitcham Junction. After taking a few photographs there, we proceeded by TramLink onto Wimbledon where we had an enjoyable lunch at the Alexandra pub. Members then made their way back to their homes from Wimbledon via Clapham Junction, Waterloo or Blackfriars. A very enjoyable day out.
