6 September 2017 Isle of Wight Steam Railway, our excellent visit to the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, our journey started from London Waterloo and travelling on South West Railways train to Portsmouth Harbour. Then on a Wightlink Catamaran to Ryde Pier Head, continuing on the Island Line (ex London Transport tube stock) to Smallbrook Junction where the preserved railway starts from. A very interesting day with plenty to see on this lovely preserved railway with a Southern theme. Attendees were Len; SAAL, Jackie, Roger; Hon Sec, Patrick, Ian, Janet and Jim; President.
