3 May 2017 our journey to Rugby started from London Euston on a London Midland class 350 Desiro unit to Rugby via Northampton. We met up with our northern MiRaCle colleague Dudley who met us at the station. We proceeded into the town and stopped off at the Wheeltappers for a refreshment before moving onto the Everards pub The Seven Stars where lunch was taken. Our return journey also on a London Midland service back to Euston experienced 110 mph running via the fast tracks with only 1 stop at Milton Keynes. A very enjoyable day with Brian, Roger, Dudley & the President.
