14 May 2019 our amazing trip and experience on the Severn Valley Railway. A very early start for 7 of us from London Euston on a Virgin West Coast Pendolino service to Birmingham New Street. Then a short walk to Birmingham Moor Street and a West Midlands Railways service to Kidderminster. We met up with 3 other members and proceeded to join the 10am service from SVR Kidderminster station in the inspection saloon "Caroline" courtesy of Phil Swallow who also owns Bullied West Country Pacific steam loco "Taw Valley". 2 return trips with lovely light refreshments, breakfast, buffet lunch spread and afternoon tea, with Beth looking after us in Caroline for the day. Attendees from London were Roger; Hon Sec, Len; SAAL, Jackie, Jim; President, Patrick, Colin & Tim. Joining us at Kidderminster were Brian, Helen & Dudley. Such a treat and excellent weather to add to the special occasion. Our return was back from Kidderminster to Birmingham Snow Hill and Chiltern Railways service to London Marylebone.
