North Norfolk Railway

14 June 2017 our journey to the North Norfolk Railway at Sheringham started from London Liverpool Street station heading on a Greater Anglia service to Norwich. Propelled by a Class 90 with mark 3 coaches. At Norwich, we changed onto a Class 156 DMU to Sheringham, from there we crossed the road to the NNR station and took a ride to Weybourne where we investigated the signal box and were shown around the works shed with locomotives and coaches in various states of repair and overhaul. Our journey continued onto Holt and looked around the facilities there. We then returned back to Sheringham, partook light refreshments in the Robin Hood and then proceeded to return home by the outward route back via Cromer, Norwich, Chelmsford to London. Members attending were Roger; Hon Sec, members Brian and Jim L and Jim the President. A great day out with weather to match.
