25 October 2017 an excellent day out to the Nene Valley Railway just outside the City of Peterborough. There were 11 members and friends who attended, 9 of us travelled from London starting out from KIngs Cross and 2 others joined us from York and Norwich. Roger, Hon Sec; Len, SAAL; Jackie; Brian; Patrick; John; Jim L; Claire; Dudley from York and Malcolm from Norwich and Jim The President. We were very lucky with the weather and was able to walk to and back from Peterborough Nene Valley Railway station. Our heritage train took us to Yarwell and then back to Wansford which is the main centre for the preserved railway.
